With all these talks about the Tribute To Polaris 1968 and the Polaris Memovox 50th anniversary, what about a fresh picture of THE original? 




This old lady is timeless.

Did you ever send the watch to JLC or a specialist for a restoration? I've been holding my Snowdrop for a few months trying to determine whether the factory's restoration service is trustworthy or whether I should seek an independent who specializes in vintage. My watch has a spotless dial like yours (albeit in Snowdrop form), and it's critical for me to retain all of that condition when service is performed.

Restoration, no. Service, yes. The problem with the service at JLC is that it is very long, and it may be expensive. BUT you have to do it if you are looking for some spare parts... [nt]

Hi Amanico,

It is a beautiful watch but it does not light my heart on fire. So I will cherish my old Polaris instead.
