And also selected the same nubuck alligator hide for the lining but smaller scales Sort of like the blue nubuck multi-tonal alligator I have on the Duometre à Chronographe in platinum. The surprise will be the stitches I chose but I will wait for the reveal to show that part. Also ordered a couple other straps of different hides and colors so let's see how they come out 😁
I heard
Lange does the same. Its part of the standard procedure to "wash" the movement. The drawback is that it get rid of the patina.
