Vintage Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox E 855 Black.
There are legendary Black Memovox everybody knows, such as the Polaris and the Deep Sea Alarm of course.
But there are also some strong contenders, such as this Memovox E 855 Black, which doesn't lack charm nor appeal:
Finding one, an all correct one, is not such an easy game. Even less in good condition.
This one is a jewel, with its deep glossy black gilt dial.
Made in the late 60's for a few years. 37 mm steel case. Cal 825 automatic alarm movement.

Yes the domed glass adds some charm, but it contributes to the difficulty of taking a good picture. There is a lot of distorsion ! [nt]
