These watches are amazing. I really love the new watches of JLC and IWC and what they pull off dial and movement wise.
Amazing watch, the knowledge thwt went into
designing and building this movement is truly astonishing. Haute Horlogerie is the one genre where modern watches can hold their own against vintage.

Honestly, it is more comfortable on a pin buckle rather than on a folding one. But it is not too big for me, and yes, I love wearing it on my 17 cm wrist.
Maybe I will next time when I am
near a Boutique, but I always feel a bit awkward when I try on a watch only for trying it on when I know that I can't afford it atm. Maybe there will be an opportunity in the multi-brand jeweler where I buy my wifes jewelery and new Rolex watches (only brand I buy new for obvious reasons ) - they know me as a good customer and ai won't feel out of place trying on expensive stuff...

I know what you mean,
10 years ago I would have never thought to buy watches for multiple thousands of Euros, but the passion grows and so does my income. Maybe when the biggest things around our house are finished and the mortgage has shrinked, BOOM - heavy hitter incoming!

Yes,the real original version ...in its summer configuration.
Nothing beats the original,although I would not mind having the new blue dial moonphase version in my collection.
Maybe in 2-3 years from the secondary market ....
