An unpolished case, a dial which is in correct condition and cherry on the cake, with its box and its papers.

I always wonder how I could come across something like this on my own, not through a dealer.
What a beautiful and warm looking Vintage Jaeger Triple Register Chronograph.
As you say the icing on the cake is that it is a full set it really is just such a special and lovely watch.

Not the best dial indeed but the soul of a man who was a role model for me... a member of the Resistance from the very beginning, a diver, with a calmness rarely seen... an authority figure who knew how to command respect without saying a word... a glance was enough...
Along with my memories, this watch and the Polaris 68 are a form of presence.
