A new friend for my Reverso Grande Automatique ;)
The Memovox is a real marvel, with its very pure crystal sound!
I would have been very unlucky if i didn't have it!
Mine is with a dark chocolate aligator/grey reflects strap, that is very trendy.
The case is pretty thick, more than my ex-dualmatic, maybe due to space needed for the reveil complication.
I didn't know the Memovox has the stop second function as more recent JLC calibers...it's very useful!

The watch looks marvelous. What a pitty that JLC discontinous the production of it.

It would have been my watch if JLC had decided to use the brezel for a second time zone (hrs instead of minutes). Than, the watch would have a 2nd time zone + alarm which would make her perfect for travelling.

I was thinking my dream watch for next year would be a Polaris but with a 24hr ring for the rotating bezel....Polaris GMT..!!  How perfect, a GMT watch with alarm, 40mm and not too thick....if only..!!  But last year I dreamed of a perfect Moonphase and up poped the GSM so you never know.

A : To wind the alarm (clockwise) + to set the alarm-time (counterclockwise) + to stop the alarm when ringing

B : To wind the watch + to set the hour and minute hands + to set the date (rapid date adjustment) + stop second function

C : To set the rotating bezel

I would like to get a flyback chronograph.
But i can't get a MC Chrono, cause the design would be too much similar to my Memovox.
I would like a Master serie chronograph, but unfortunatly it doesn't exist.
I only want some watches with homemade calibers in my collection (no ETA or something else)
I choose a different complication for every new watch i get (like Grande sonnerie, flyback, perpetual calendar, moon phase....etc)
I have 2 complications in my little collection :
Alarm : MC Memovox
Dualtime : Reverso Grande Automatique
I think about Girard-Perregaux  for my future flyback chronograph, but i'm too much in love with JLC!
What would you advise me?

after getting the GSM it just oozes quality and craftmanship.  I have recently started to 'want' different complications, next on my list would be an alarm and Dje did tease a few threads down about something new next year so will have to wait.  My only trouble is i don't have a money tree so i have to justify to myself spending so much (my GSM is a lot for me to spend) so it does have to tick practically all the boxes - if the dream were to come true it would have to be the right size, looks, etc to justify another £5000..!!  But I also want an Atmos too..!!

i prefer to wait for months to get the watch i want instead of buying something i would regret.
I.e with the Memovox, when my AD told me it would be hard for him to get a Memovox because of the discontinuation of it....I was about to order a MC Chrono, that is wonderful but that wasn't the one i really wanted first.....finally, i did the good choice to wait, cause now i got my wonderful Memovox!

Also on my list after an alarm is : chronograph, skeletonised, perpetual, tourbillon....but slowly the price increases..!!  Speaking of chronograph I am intersted in seeing what the 50th anniversary of the Speedmaster Pro is like, again being fascinated with the Moon this piece would fit that criteria and be cheap enough to buy if it looks nice..!!

homemade Omega co-axial movement.
Unfortunatly, the speemaster moonwatch has a lemania caliber and not an Omega.
I've found a very beautiful chrono from GP but it's one with an ETA inside instead of a GP caliber.
Here is the scan:

the anniversary model will have the co-axial movement and be a LE as they couldn't put that into the regular model due to issues with NASA.  Time will tell..!!  Ideally for me Id like co-axial, similar classic simple look, a display back, and automatic.
Those scans are nice too - quite dressy for a chrono which puts it into a different class to what I'm after for a chrono but I can see your a man of taste.

Congratulations on your new watch. It fits your wrist nicely. And it's probably the Compressor model I care for the most. Nice function to have. Wear it in good health, my friend.

By the way, I'm curious if you had consider the bracelet option when you were buying this piece? I think it is kind of nice, too.

I wanted the gold calf strap because the chocolate one didn't seem very trendy to me..... , but my ad has sent my memovox with it.
Finally, it's a very beautiful chocolate alligator strap with grey reflects, that looks a little bit like the one in the Gyro.
About the compressor range, i agree with you : the memovox is my favorite too!

The strap looks like black in color shwon in the photos.
Try to have a look on the rubber strap.  It matches perfectly with compressor memovox

Hi , can anyone tell me if the crown that rotate the bazel does not spin of itselfd and is strong enough?
is it reliable ?
