In Athens' Very Important Watches Show, last November.... I held it, the red gold version and a very helpful JLC manager told me to wear it... I was hooked.. And the back of the watch is magnificent!!!! I I was so excited about the watch that the manager sent me the Franco Cologni book on JLC as a Christmas gift, a marvelous thought!!! Now I am really hooked!!

So, it will be a scoop.

... and I can phone to my friend who is manager of the JLC sales division in the Richemond Group of Greece and ask...
It was superbly finished, front (with this lovely, almost porous surface of the dial) as well as back, and I did npt see any PROTO inscription on it..
But I can always can ask if you like..
Some watches, like the JLC Duometer and the Tourbillon Messidor 9 of Breguet in platinum and the Vacheron "Alexander the Great" for example, came to Athens only for the show of Very Important Watches...

It was a production watch!

So, what are your impressions about the production watch compared to the proto?

...was superb!!! Even my wife. who came with me to humor my adoration for watches (she is the woman with the highest WAF I know... WAF=Wife Acceptance Factor ) was dazzled by it!!!
Who knows what JLC means as a Duometre family?
maybe we will find out this spring...

That is the information I just got about the arrival of the Duo Metre...March or April, maximum...
But still don't know if mine will be there at this moment.
