Polaris Prototyp Strap without "hole"
Hello; I’m new here (and like this fantastic forum and great reports) – At the 65 Polaris Prototyp, I’ve seen the strap without „hole’s“. What kind of strap is that? At the “official series”, JLC is using the Tropic strap. As I really like the Prototyp strap without hole’s; Is this the same material like the official Tropic strap? Is that also available? The Polaris Protos are from 1963, not 65.
May you post a pic of the strap you're talking about?

I mean the Tribute de Polaris Prototyp Year 2008. I saw that the Paris Boutique Edition Prototyp has the same strap without "hole's" > spherebymilan.blogspot.com

You were speaking about the Proto of the Re edition...
Ok, Got it now.
The straps are the seam on the re edtion of the 65 and 68...
With holes...
Here, the 65 Proto:
The 68 Proto:
Only the straps for the protos came without holes.
JLC improved the design of these straps by putting holes, to be closer to the tropic straps of the Sixties.
So, now, for the Re Editions of the 65 and 68, you won't find, nor be able to order a Strap without holes.
