This will mean that JLC will never cease to amaze me!
Seriously, on the Vintage topic, I miss around 7 other watches to end my collection of JLC watches.
About modern pieces, it will depend on what JLC will offer.
I fear it won't be the end. LOL
As for our Spanish Bro, I think he's happy with what he sees, eeeh, Emilio?
Best.
Nicolas
I´m very happy and I´m always enjoing here with you, hermanos. It´s a great home.
And I´m very happy seeing all your post and learning every day.
I´m very happy seeing that you hunt your dreams.
But the most important is that I´m very happy if you are happy too.
A huge from Spain hermanos, Bimbaeno I and Nicolas II.
Emilio III.
It reflects a deep value for the brand.
I will someday work on a topic to sum a nice selection of Vintage JLC watch, and the History of this " Grande Maison "...
But it takes a lot of time.
As for the Future, I'm quite confident that JLC will amaze us for some long years!
Best, and thank you for your nice words..
Nicolas
Yes, I think so.
The case of this Memovox must be really sexy. This mixed round-oval case used in this watch is really well done, and I think that must be really impressive.
Like you say, this watch must be see in the flesh for getting all this beauty.
I like specially the hands of this watch, and I see that nothing made by JLC is made without a reason (seein the pic of your two modern JLC with this kind of hands). JLC knows how to make an Hommage to some models made (another example are the hands used in the Amvox models, like the Calypso hands used in some units of the Polaris). I like this kind of works.
Really, a lovely Memovox, my friend.
Thanks for your great report and for your teaching. And, like always, for your impressive pics.
Best.
Emilio.

I appreciated it so much that I put it in my wish list...
One more piece...
But the Memovox with Black Dial is indeed a great thematic collection, with a lot of variety, hence, a true interest of the talent of this Manufacture.
Thanks for your nice words, Hermano.
Best.
Nicolas
that you´re a lucky man, hermano. And this hunt (15º JLC, no? LOLOL) confirms it to me.
I´m very happy for you Nicolas!!
You, my apassionate friend, deserves this watch.... and this watch deserves be in your collection (it´ll be very happy with all its brothers).
Como sigas a este ritmo, amigo mio, voy a tener que hacerte otra visita el próximo año para que me enseñes las nuevas adquisiciones!!!. LOL
Un fuerte abrazo.
Best.
Emilio.

LOL
Funny to see where JLC takes the inspiration, don't you think ?
I'm preparing another post in this kind...
Haven a Happy Xmas, my friend, if I don't see you before.
Friendly yours,
Torquemada.
And love that super detailed shot of your Perpetual Squeletton!
Cheers
Stephen
And that means all.
I won't bet on the water resistance of this E 877...
I know that it is written 5 ATM on the case back, but I won't swim with.
Like you, I'm madly in love with this special shape, combined to the black dial.
Not sure that with the white dial I'd love it that much.
Now, I kjust have to find one, which won't be an easy story.
Best, and thanks for your enthusisat input.
Nicolas

If you want to swim with, you'd better go on this one:
Memovox E 870, so called Polaris II, Water resistance to 100 meters.
Best.
Nicolas
The E877 has a monobloc case (front loaded movement with split stems), so the 5ATM thing is not only theoretic, it should also work quite well in practice.
Not meaning that I intend to swim with mine, but I would be definitely more confident to try its waterproofness than with other classic memos...
And yes, I agree that I would be more ocnfident with this one than, with a E 855, for example.
Best.
Nicolas
