I came across a web site that offered a watch at a 20% discount. the site claims that they are not an AD but are offering all the papers together with a guarantee stamped from an AD. are these sites to be trusted. someone told me that if any problems arise an AD will not respect the guarantee. Is this true?

why would you go to a boutique in the future if youre happy with the service they gave you? did you get the watch checked? how can you tell that the guarantee is original?
i could potentially go to the place to see the watch. its the chance of getting a fake watch or a fake guarantee that worries me.
thanks for sharing this experience.

...multiply that by 3x and thats the problems you're also buying...
you just don't know it yet when you make the "cheap" purchase
Everything expensive or cheap breaks...you know what I mean...
20 % discount with a Grey Market Dealer?
20 % premium of problems, or at least, risks.
Best.

although the online site also has an office where you can go to view the timepiece by appointment, i was worried that the AD stamp could be a fake and another dealer would not assist me if i have future problems.
what is the normal AD discount one can get?
thanks all for your response
