While viewing all the JLC novelties this year, my wife fell on the Master Compressor Diving GMT Ceramic...

A Ceramic 39mm case, a black guilloché dial, silver appllied indexes, a laquered bezel with 16 Diamonds ( in case she has a date with a Shark... ), and at the end, a superb play of light and colors.

As women aren't only satisfied with Esthetic, she saw that this one was perfect for travels, with the dual time zone in the windrose designed counter.

It is also water resistant at 100 meters, so she can go to the Sea with it.



Damn, I should not have let her see what I was preparing...

Sometimes I believe that there is a book that all wives must secretly read and memorize.
When my wife saw that model she said almost the same thing about it that your wife said.
"It's a serious woman's watch with not too much bling and a clean dial."  Amazing!
She, however, does not feel the urge to own one, not yet anyway.

... As i have the same strap on my MCDC, IMO its one of the best strap, unscratchable!... jst beware from water that dries on it ( even when u wash ur hands ) . It leaves a white deposit in between ( calcaire entre les maillons ) that contrast with the black and is quite bothering. Nothing that can be cleaned easily... by mr moderator

First, congrats to your wife for the new watch.

But I have to say that this watch is nothing compare to the last diving lady GMT. This model looks more like a toy watch that you can find in an accessory store for teenagers. Just like the Navy seal "Steven Segal" gimmic diving models, give me a break... if it aint broken don't fix it.

Very helpful to me, as I will ( try to ) convince my wife that it is not a serious watch for her!

Your wife has great taste. Really, I am in complete awe at Jaeger LeCoultre's 2009 creations. The new Master Grand Tourbillon Perpetual and Master Grand Tourbillon Continents are two of the most beautiful watches I have ever seen. Unfortunately, they will be too expensive for me, but the Amvox2 DBS Chrono limited edition in stainless steel is growing on me with each passing hour So any watches so little time

And you certainly will die for some of them...

But I see that you already know some of this Stuff...

As for your wife, if you want to get one of these Amvoxes or others, you should avoid your wife to see this, indeed...

For me, it's too late.

I'm working on the Nay SEALs Topic, and to say all, I hope to be able to end it next week, but I won't post only press files pics, so it takes a long time to prepare in in an ( I hope ) interesting way.

As for the Diving Lady, who else cares?

Nicolas, your wife has great taste in watches!  Now that you have to budget for this purchase, I hope you can still pick up the Amvox III!  Kidding, kidding... 

I just love the lacquered bezel and dial layout on this model.  This is a watch I would definitely wear myself (and I usually don't go for diamonds unless they are set in a ring or necklace).
