I have a Reverso Gran'Sport Automatique that was given to me as a gift (brand new) about 4 years ago. If I wear it all day, which I generally do, taking it off around 7 PM, I will have to set it again when I put it back on at about 8 AM the next morning. Is this normal, or should I expect it to take longer to wind down after a full day of wear?

As for your question, give 30 turns to the crown, and test its power reserve as you do it, wearing it from 8 AM till 7 PM.

If the power reserve doesn't last till the next morning, so yes, you may have a problem.

All depends of the kind of activity you have in the day.

If you're not very active, your watch can't be wound correctly.

Keep us updated, as it may also mean that you will have to service it.

Aaah, 1 wrist movement is not equal to 1 turn to the crown, it is much less.

If you mean 30 movements of the wrist while wearing the watch, then no that will not equal 30 turns of the crown.  My suggestion is to take your wearing habits out of the equation, and wind it 50 turns of the crown, note the time, and let it sit dial up.  Note the time it stops.  If it is less than the stated power reserve (most manufacturers are conservative with these numbers to begin with) then it needs to be looked at.
