Dear Amanico,
Thanks for these pictures. Nice pieces.
Which one to choose ?
Ahhh, if the two of them were merged, what a wonderful watch it would be...
Best regards.
OMA

Thanks for posting some new photos of these two together. You are right, there is much to see when these two are placed side by side. I keep dreaming of the AMVOX1, but I wonder if it is too similar looking to the AMVOX2 in some ways, at least for a small, practically non-existent collection such as mine. Had I a larger collection, the AMVOX1 would be a no brainer. And yet it remains so tempting. And I vacillate among the MC Memovox and one of the Polaris Re-editions. Your photos do not really help my friend. ;-)

...as they get me in trouble. LOL.
Looking forward to see what you post, my friend.

Quite cool and the strap on it makes it a pefect combination.

And super cool pairing of watch and band in the Amvox I, Nico.
Thanks for posting,
Alex
Thanks for the nice pictures Nicolas - Tempting and inspiring as always!
It stikes me that this JLC/Aston Martin co-branding is IMHO the most successful of the increasing number of co-branded watches. Without giving it much thought, I would state the following reasons for the success:
)
I think that many other co-branding exercises have failed on points 2&3 above (at the risk of stirring emotions, GP/Ferrari comes to mind).
I would think that one argument for teaming up two niche products such as high-end watches and super-cars is to extend the possibilities of advertising your products (JLC can place an ad in a car magazine and get much more attention than if the AM connection had not been there - and vice-versa). On the other hand, I am wondering how much extra sale is created for such a partnership? I noticed a Purist asking here if it would be "too much" to have both the watch and the car. In this particular case, I can only think of "too much luck and good fortune" - but I do see his point, which is another fine balance to be observed in co-branding.
I find this topic quite interesting and would love it if others would comment and/or add to the list and arguments...
Kind regards
Nikolaj
PS: In slight contradiction to point 1 in the above list, I actually found it very charming to see the Jaeger logo on the speedometer of my friends mothers oooold FIAT 127 when I borrowed it with a fresh license in hand and my first real watch (Memovox) on my wrist. I know this was not co-branding - just a nice memory
Hi Nicolas,
How's Things?You still your old way...like faithfull car salesperson.LOLOLOLO.....
My Amvox DBS still hold a very special place inside my hearth till today,
Well,it is light, its ultra sophisticated(in terms of case design which allows the touch screen function),appearance(with partially open/see thru),sexy leather strap.small rotating second hand disc and etc.
I would say it is a break through in modern chronograph interms of movement design and build-up design. And i am sure to say i will keep this watch my whole life and i am now seriously considering to have the rose gold version as well due to its weight is very much acceptable to me.
Thanks for sharing the topics,nico.

A hard to beat Amvox, indeed.
So hard that everybody has now a high level of expectation from JLC.
I hope that we'll still have the joy to see a fabulous Amvox IV.
As for your DBS, I fully understand you, and your enthusiasm about it.
This was simply genial to create such an original Chrono.
As you can see, I'm still madly in love with my normal A II.
Enjoy, my friend.
Best,
Nico, the Car Sales Person...

Side by side, this pair is awesome.
What kind of issue did your A II have?
Congrats, my friend.
Best,
Nicolas
Happy to know that the issue is solved!
I'm pretty sure that you will enjoy your A II more and more, now.
Thanks.
Nicolas
