I'm considering to buy an Amvox1 R Alarm (the green one; 191T440). I've found a quite well know reseller in Germany that has this watch available. He says the watch is new, when asking more details he told me the watch is from 2007. I know this watch has been in production starting end of 2005 and produced at 500 (limited edition)
Does somebody know when this model has been end of production? (Is it possible that the watch is from 2007). Lastly, what do you think about a limited edition watch which is from 2 to 4 years ago and sold as new (with new certificate)?

So, it is not surprising at all.

Therefore, 2007 was a bit more than one year after the beginning of its distribution, and 500 pieces can't be made at the same time.

I would say that 2007 is the last year of the production for this piece.

As new is not new...

New is never worn.

About the certificate, and the warranty, to be valid, it has to be stamped by a JLC AD, with the date of the purchase...

I have seen several in London, UK.,

Not too difficult to source them at all. Many sellers have them as New Old Stock.

...New Old Stock? Is there anything to know / to look for? Any advice?
