Dear guys, I need your help!
I can(if I'm lucky) get my hands on a Jaeger-Lecoultre Polaris from 1968.
It is the European version, marked 'Jaeger leCoultre' on the dial, without the word 'Memovox'.
The only thing I do not understand is that the movement(Cal. 825) is marked 'LeCoultreCo' and it is unadjusted.
Can it be that the movement is not original, I thought that movements for the American merket were marked this way.
I hope somebody can help me!
Thanks, Martijn from the Netherlands
Dear Nicolas, thanks for the fast response!
The movement-number is; 1944745 The case-number is; 1117653 and it should have been made; 1-1968
When you have some more information, it would be great!
Thanks, Martijn

These are sadly the only pictures I have at the moment...
I have at one side a 'good' 'original' feeling about the watch, I think the bezel looks fine, may be due to bad pictures.
The only thing is the Jaeger LeCoultre - LeCoultreCo issue, did it never happen, the change of names? Or maybe the dial is not original?
knowing myself, when the watch is not completely original, I will just sell it again and spent my money rather on the nice Tribute-Polaris
Here some more pictures

Not sure about the dial and movement issue but the inner bezel is wrong. Maybe it is possible for you shooting to JLC and ask if they have spare parts before you confirm. If the price is right without an inner bezel and JLC could replace, I would consider that for sure.
Just my 2 cents
Thanks for the info, my 'feeling' with the watch is gone....
For anyone who is interested; it is another day at xxxxxx.
I am not sure what it will do, but take a chance if you like....
