As for the Art deco, you are both correct. For that matter, the Chronographe Retrograde would actually be my preference (even over the exquisite Art Deco, but that is definitely a wonder) if we are going back to the smaller case and RG metal. The Chronographe has a relatively simple main dial, an open work reverse side featuring a beautifully finished movement with the chronograph functions, all in a very thin case.
But now, I am thinking of something in at least the XGT case (at least lengthand width) and offered in a white metal. Not that I am particular...LOL.

Thanks for the extra photos. I am actually at a point now where I do not necessarily need to see the movement withe a caseback display, I just want a Reverso in which I know the movement inside is exquisitely finished. A special Reverso Duo for instance, with a perfect finish would be lovely, as we would have the simple dial on front and a natural second time zone on the backside.
