Hi all
I recently tried on the memovox polaris re-issue (in stainless steel ltd. edition) and noticed that
it made quite a loud audible 'rattle' whenever i moved my wrist. The AD said this was perfectly
normal and was the sound of the 'gongs' inside the calibre. I'm not sure whether this should be the case
and wondered if anyone who owns the new polaris could shed anymore light on this?
Many thanks
Do a search using " Polaris " keyword, and you will have a lot to read about the watch, and the noise.
All is normal, it is due to the ceramic balls bearing used for the rotor, and to the alarm gong.

I thinks it's a stunning watch, also i understand some have luminous dials and
others don't?
The first 90 TPP 68 have luminous indexes.

Didn’t know that…
Thanks for the info!

We are a few to know that.

Of the lucky 90!
You are an incredible source of information.
Thank you very much!
It’s much appreciated that you share your info with us!

I've seen some pics where the hour indexes seem more 'pink' and others
more 'brown', or do they both look the same when in light?
I have seen the luminous dial referred to as 'the wrong dial' why is that? I prefer the full luminous dial
and see it as a useful feature. Not sure why JLC didn't do them all like that.

The Cal 918, which was more " noisy " than the 956.
