In certain countries  in the world, people use the word "septante" instead of "soixante-dix" when they refer to the number 70 in French. When you talk about septantieme, you're talking about the seventieth. In the case of the watch, by now, you've probably figured out that it's the 70th anniversary of the launch.

Seven =Sept; and

Seventieth=Soixante-dixieme; but

Seventy=Soixante-dix in French, but in Swiezerland and Belgium say Septante ! 

so I guess, Septant -ieme would/could mean Seventieth in the Swiss tongue ?
