My JLC RDM on a Blur Croc strap. Waiting for delivery of my Boutique edition Master calendar in a couple of days. I will post pics when it arrives. Have to decide on a new strap for it. Any suggestions? The boutique has the darker grey dial

I'm tempted to dress the new Master Calendar in Wine (burgandy, but light burgandy) or even red croc. The red would pick out the red of the date hand. Having said that Blue would pick out the blue in the moonphase, but I already have blue for the RDM.
Such difficult decisions!

I will post a pic of the watch when it arrives. Then another when I have bought a new strap and put it on.

I would order a strap now. But, though I am sure the lug size is 20mm I am not sure which deployment is with the watch some are 16mm and some are 20mm . I think some are even 18. Not sure which was standard with the watch when it was new in 2007.

As for your strap question, you should try a grey, a light grey crocodile, and a darker one.

It will match with the dial, and it will also dress it up.

Not that it needs to be dressed up, but you will keep a certain elegance to the watch.

My personal favorite is both of those pieces on a navy (not bright blue). I find it perfectly matches the moonphase and blued hands. Same on many of the Reversos, and the navy looks great with jeans or a navy suit.
