it should start delivery by next APRIL.
yesterday i visited the new JLC boutique in RIYADH ( i posted some pics some time ago of some of the pieces they had) well yesterday was the official openning and i sat with some of JLC people that came directly from switzerland for the event (unfortunatly i didnt take any pics, dumb i know)
we had very intersting discussion and NICO listen to this the GYRO 2 was present as well. they also showed me some pics of the new JLC safe that includes 3 distinctive watches thatcomes with the safe (the GYRO 1 skeleton, the triptic and the new marvel of JLC that was presented in 2010 i forgot the name but it is highly complicated with more than a 1000 parts for the movement) all 3 plus the huge safe will cost the lucky owner a massive 2000000 EUROS
but all of that was a side show for me as i was (from the beginning) very intersted in the EXTREMELAB 2 Ti which im realy considerring to be my first JLC watch.
so we have to wait till APRIL and hopefully i can showcase it in LAS VAGAS next may/june in the huge GTG

May I offer you some more…?
When I visited the Manufacture earlier this year I had the chance to play with this one for a while…

what do you think of the watch?
respo
Well, it’s a fantastic watch!
Really extreme!
Very comfortable on the wrist, good looking, innovative…
You name it, it has it all!
But, …
There is a but for me.
It’s out of my price range if I consider what I would have to give up and the amount of wrist time such an extreme watch would get.
As you might have noticed, I like plain, clean, simple dials.
This one is too busy for me to become a daily beater.
No disrespect intended for Mohannad’s choice.
If I had the possibility I would gladly have this one to change with in my watch box.

This is one very special piece and one which I hope JLC use as a base for other variations - there are so many things to love about this watch
...... that the manufacture had decided to drop the antimagnetic silicon escapement feature of the watch and I decided to save the funds for another purchase. Nicolas and I had a lengthy conversation about this, and it prides me in actually having this knowledge before someone as Nicolas, who is extremely well informed about anything relating to JLC, knew about it. That said, the final confirmation that it was indeed true, came from Nicolas after he checked with JLC and that is when I decided to finally cancel my order.
Nicolas subsequently posted a message about the EL2 not having the antimagnetic silicon escapement.
I still think the EL2 is a marvelous watch and priced substantially below similar highend and hightech watches from other manufactures, and in terms of looks I think it looks much much better . But the antimagnetic feature to me was a fundamental characteristic of this watch.
