I know these Navy Seals are getting popular and I don't want to bore anyone (and certainly don't want to come across as a boaster), but I always love new watch posts.

I live by the cliche that "variety is the spice of life", and positively so when it comes to watches. The first Panerai I saw went straight to my heart and head over 4 years ago, as did the Big Pilot at about the same time...then the MIH. Then this...

I received a letter from the JLC BH Boutique about a year ago announcing the NSA and just threw it out--how could I get another watch?! I basically let myself forget about it, until I saw the NSA posted on the forums, it just hit me like the ones above--I needed to get this watch.

I made a call to the Boutique in Beverly Hills, and Seth was pleasant as usual and positively direct about this watch. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him and the Boutique again.

I've lived long enough to know that reality doesn't always meet equally with expectation and anticipation, but this watch comes close. It's powerful looking and in action, is obviously well designed and crafted, and is just damn handsome. While Ti is very lightweight, this watch has a nice heft to it, seemingly between a light Ti watch with a small movement like the MIH and a heavier Panerai Luminor in SS. Like the Polaris Tribute which has the same movement, the winding and mechanism are sublime, but somehow seems quiet and more solid in the NSA. This to me is the modern Polaris.

So, I hope you enjoy the pictures and be forewarned: There are those from this forum (names shall be withheld) who are evil, no-good watch pushers! Their NSA posts prevented me from calmly denying myself this watch! I hope they don't buy any new ones for some time, as their taste is excellent and influential.

I specially like the two tones dial giving it a superb contrast.

The wristband seems to be made of sharskin and matches the center dial so well.

Congratulations, I just do not recommend that you test her diving skills in the same environment as mine, the wristband might catch a cold...

NSA is such an awesome watch !! I love the presentation box and the accessories this NSA BH Boutique edition comes with and that gray shark strap is such a perfect fit IMO.

Happy for you my friend on this awesome JLC duo, the Polaris is on my bucket list for sure .

Post some pix when your rubber bracelet comes in.

A superbly written post, with great pictures, dedicated to what I consider as an excellent watch.

A Classic look, strong, yet timeless, with a lot of presence on the wrist.

Another great thing is that you showed this grey shark nubuck strap, which is a terrific solution for this NSA.

I feel Seth's influence...

For those who ever doubted to deal with a Boutique, this post is a brilliant demonstration of the benefits of such a relation.

Seth picked out that strap, and it was the perfect choice. One issue: The gray top layer (dye?) is tearing off at one hole and partially on one side. I'm disappointed because the look and heft of the strap matches the watch perfectly, but I'm sure Seth will take care of it. Either way, I wouldn't hesitate to get this strap again.

I have not been a fan of the gray shark straps...until this instance.  It does work perfectly with the gray Incursion!  That was a brilliant choice. 

I really like the entire package for this special edition -- the box, the accessories, the various straps that seems to be finding their way onto this NSA.  This all spells trouble for me.

Thanks for posting some family shots of the Polaris and the Incursion.  It is really helpful (or not!) for me to see them together.  They make a great pair!

IMO, the NSA is destined to become a future classic, and the Incursion even doubly so.  And in your case, I've gotta say that the shark strap is a perfect fit.  So much so, in fact, that I might just have to give ol' Seth a call and see if he can wrangle one up for yours truly.

Anyway, enjoy that beastie for the holidays, and wear it in great health!
