This is my first JLC watch which I bought in 2006 and it is also my first rose gold watch and limited edition. I like the World Time feature (even take into consderation for summer time and I travelled a lot) and the size and thickness of the dial and dial design with power reserve indicator. Apparently the serial number of the watch No 233 came out in the Singapore 4-D Lottery first prize on the same day I bought the watch. My watch salesman even reminded me to bet this number for the lottery but I just took it lightly...............So even I did not win because I did not bet...........it is still a very memorable time piece for me......and also I bought this watch when I closed my first million dollar deal as a sales.......

A year later, I was just window shopping at my usual authorised distributor shop and I saw this JLC and fell in love with its masculine size (about 45mm dial), nice dial face, world time, titanium case, quick change straps and most of all, the mechanical Alarm feature with ON/OFF switch. The JLC Master Compressor Extreme World Alarm. I have all the three straps for this watch (leather, rubber and stainless steel with titanium). This has been one of my favourite watch to be placed on my wrist till today even though I now owned more than 10 watches from Panerai to IWC.

I like this brand very much due to its rich heritage and history in watch making. So I decided to to buy my wife a JLC for our wedding anniversary and this is what I got her:

Your bases are pretty well covered in terms of friendly complications.
Thanks for sharing.
Best,
Nicolas.
Nice memories to go with the Master World Geo too.

In my opinion, but it is just MY opinion, the EWC stands out.
BUT, there is also another option you didn't consider: The new Master Geographique,, which has a very nice 39 mm case, and a very pure dial.
Anyway, a test in the real will give you the answer you're looking for.
Best,
Nicolas;
As I wear both the Master Control World Geographic and EWA (you are right, it is the same dial size and thickness as my EWA) with my suit, I find both fits well even for the EWA. One thing I like about the EWA is the large dial and also the quick change mechanism for my straps. I have a rubber, stainless / titanium and also a leather strap which makes it a very versatile watch for all occasions. Both watches will project a very different style - the EWA very bold, macho and sporty and the Master Control makes you confident and professional. The best is to try them to see how they fit.
Let me try to take some pics on my wrist of both watches with my suit so that you can compare.......
Regards
Sorry for the pics which I took in a rush using my i-Phone 4 and I took the wrist shots without a shirt and suit which I proomised but just bear with me with what I have taken now..........
