Hello guys!
I trust that you all are having a fantastic mid-week!
As many of you might know already, I have just returned back to South East Asia last week, and boy was i fortunate enough to be invited to a very nice event earlier this evening already! And i have not even stepped foot here one week!
Here's my humble coverage of the evening! The party was of a different atmosphere than from what i was used to in Tokyo, but nonetheless it was wonderful, and i thoroughly enjoyed myself very much!
All thanks to the wonderful staff at Jaeger Lecoultre Marina Bay Sands boutique, and of course to Monsieur Alexis de Laporte!
Hope you enjoy the shots!
Cheers

A parting shot, albeit with lotsa fingerprint marks on it!
Hope you all liked it!
The crowds agreed so to it!
Glad you liked it!
Cheers
Stephen
Did you feel the power of this watch?
Are you on to get it?
Best,
Nicolas.

On getting it or not, i am not sure, but this is definitely a contender!
A beintot
Stephen
And looks like a great event.
Comeon, just do it! Order that 1931 already!
We are looking forward to our own local event here with Seth and the gang.
Was the DSA there?
Because at the end of the day it does not fulfill my criteria.
But, the price makes it so tempting!
The Deep Seas were here, but i was too caught up in the Reversos that i completely missed it! Plus it was an automatic and i guess that did it for me!
Thanks!
Stephen
I wish there was a JLC Boutique in my country…
We never get the SIHH show here.
Thank you for sharing!

its like the "sweet girl next door", the one that if you bring her home, you know your mom would smile and approve of.
i am smitten by her too.
Best,
Horo
It's absolutely one being transported from the past to the present.
Cheers

Of which was probably the factor that made me love it!
Ciao
Stephen
I enjoy it as well and even had a good chat with Mr de Laporte.
Thanks for sharing,
Goh
Wish i could have talk to you yesterday!
Which guy was you btw?
Lol
Stephen

Loved the setup and planning behind it. The canapes by Hilton was excellent.
Many of you might have seen me but i just don't know who is who. Wished bumped into Goh and Blunotte there. I think I remembered seeing blunotte taking pictures.
The marketing manager was extremely pleasant and classy, and Mr Laporte is cordial and hospitable. Heath and Su were serving me and giving me tons of information, allowing me to play with the marvels.
Out of the pieces people wore, I was impressed by an old reverso grande automatique worn by a JLC fanatic- some german gentleman
Saw that usual Korean girl there as well but well, i think she does not understand english.
Glad you liked it - here are a couple of photos of the watch - not mine worn that night but some other gentleman's as posted on this site a while ago.
My focus, it seemed like most of everyone there, was on the Reverso Tribute to 1931. Less can be more.
Dirk
Thanks for posting this.. great stuff. I'm singapore based and a big JLC fan. How do I find out about these in advance / get invited? Is it as simple as calling up MBS jLC boutique and asking?
Also , might as well post my two very recent additions too....
Cheers

I guess I should introduce you to my other JLC (MC Geo). Cheers

1. The Master Grand UT Moon
2. TT Reverso 1931
3. Quantiemme Duometre, black dial (only number 3 because I probably won't ever own one..)
Thanks again
It still features on their website: http://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/ao/en/watches/reverso-complication/reverso-grande-sun-moon
It was incredibly difficult to find - no AD's had it in the entire island of Singapore - so I would believe it was out of production. I got it pre owned.
Thank you
