This US Tribute to 1931 and the previously announced version are both lovely!  Hard to decide which I like better.  Hmmmm...

In my opinion, and I'm an opinionated guy, this watch has much more warmth that the first tribute. And the "quirky" hands adds even more character. But now I'm torn ...

Both are excellent tributes, the first one being a more "evolved" tribute ... more sterile and even more modern. The second re-captures the warmth of the original faithfully. But are we interested in repeating the past so meticulously? I suppose the best thing would be to get an original vintage, but at what price?

I must admit that I ditched my plan on getting the first tribute and decided to hold on for a white metal enamel Reverso instead, and now this thing comes along ...

Will I go for a great tribute or a "new" watch ...

This is indeed, as Nicolas puts it, delicious (and ridiculous) dilemmas!

Before I could see the TT 1931 in the flesh, I suspected  the dial was a bit too cold, due to its white indexes.

But, in the real, I could notice that the indexes were more creamy than white, and it was a definitve GO for this watch, for me.

Now, this new version comes, with darker indexes, which give more contrast and warmth to the dial, indeed.

Which one to prefer... It will be everyone's decision, I guess.

As to know if you have to hold on for a white etal Enamel Reverso, that is another problem.

I will be on the list if JLC decides to release it.

BUT I would really see myself getting the SS and the RG TT 1931... For once.

- I confess, ( if wallet & desire pose the choice) for my part I would definitely FIRST go for the (second/ "other) DSA TT 1959,
in my case then the Euro version.

Still rattling , those choices.. - glad that I placed the order on ONE DSA (US)
- makes myself a nice piece of mind, VERY much so.

The TT DSA will be hard to get, once sold out, which will happen quite fast.

So, my absolute priority, this year, is the TT DSAs, both of them, of course.

Yes, indeed - Can imagine of course: simply 1 letter (!) makes the difference , (DSA vs DSAs),
so distinctly attractive, "les deux", I do know.

- You kindly have again confirmed my thoughts ( from the beginning on, BTW) ..

I guess in a way it's nice that they offer such an option for people that want the nearest possible to the original design....but that doesn't mean to say it will be the most attractive looking version. If they abandoned that hand design after a year and have ever since offered only baton style hands what does that tell you?
I have this US TT version style of hand on my Sinn 103, they suit that watch.....but a Reverso suits baton style hands.

Some will prefer the " ponited batons ", others will go on the spade shaped hands, it is a classic.

Nobody loves the same watch.
