Funny thing is that once I posted the previous pics of the watch, I couldn't seem to get out of my mind how 'awkward' the watch (and other 'funky' memovox) look by itself in pictures... Just had to take the camera out another time to try and do this watch 'justice'. After a couple of shots, I finally figured out that the only purpose my macro lens serves is to be a decent prop for the watch itself (credit goes to Nicolas and others who previous photos gave me the idea for this) as well as the obligatory 'wrist shot'...
I'm very much counting down the days until I'm taking receipt of the NSA Incursion. Hopefully will have everything settled in the next couple of weeks. For me, the NSA Incursion will be a nice 'update' to this piece whilst also being a very much 'dress-down' type watch. I'm also looking at ordering the articulated rubber, but am getting the Boutique to check whether the I can have the clasp DLC coated to match the casing of the watch.
On a side (related) note: Can anyone tell me definitively tell me whether the NSA Incursion (1/62) casing is a DLC? Boutique printed me out their listing (some online catalogue) whose title listed it as a DLC in name but most other reference material I find online state it is a PVD coating only. I'm kinda aware that DLC is a subset of PVD (since as I understand the processes of both involve PVD) but was hoping someone here could give me the 'Yay' or 'Nay' either way. Of course, i'm secretly hoping it is a DLC.... Or maybe it was only the 1/19 series that was actually DLC?
Happy New Year again All!
Stephen.
