Jaeger-LeCoultre

don't know where u are--

But I am wearing your watch's close cousin myself today.  Humid here, so also the rubber strap.

That woman sure could design a watch... she will be sorely missed!

My GMT is a watch that I think is woefully under-appreciated.  There is a balance, elegance, as well as a contemporary feel that I think makes it something quite special....

That looks great Tinker

I understand what you mean, my thoughts are the same. The master compressor line is not for everyone but I think it was a well conceived cross over between a sportswatch and a dress watch. Perhaps that's also a part of the problem that it's not pure one or the other. But we don't care. We love our watches and that's all that really matters.

In those areas you do not know this time of the year if it's day or night. And you need a water proof watch if you happen to drop to the river/lake/sea while fishing.

LOL, Kari :-)

I have been living now for 3 years in Estonia and have forgotten that we don't have so SMALL buildings in Finland.

Anyhow, in two weeks I'll drive to northern Lapland to enjoy the midnight sun. I might also be tempted to take a couple of watch pictures at midnight and have the nearly endless wilderness as background.

Best where ever you are, Kari

You are in a fake Paris in front of a replica of the Arc de Triomphe. ;-) [nt]

Because you are so good I will let you guess the rest and give you this pic to help.

Foversta, your analysis is quite correct.  - It is a copy of Arch de Triomphe. our "guide" made a great deal of effort to explain that it is 6 meters taller than the original (=better)

Karmin, you are close also - we are next to China ;-)

come on guys, you can do it smile

The Master Compressor is what originally introduced me to the brand.

I am not a dress watch guy, and while I love some of JLCs tool watches, those weren't for me either (tho I now have an Amvox 2).

The Compressor was "just right" for me.  Can dress it up or down!

love it

Exactly, Tinker.

It's the way I feel about it also smile

I think some of the Master Compressor will have the " Heure de Gloire ".

Especially the Memovox...

Yes.

It seems that it is already the case, if you look at the evolution of the market for this watch.

Best,

Nicolas

Hmm,you might be right

 By: ChristianDK : May 30th, 2012-13:48
It has developed a bit. I just think it , it's to quirky to have big appeal, unless you are in to collecting memovoxes. But it has some unique qualities that, from my wearing experience is worth taking notice of smile
Thanks for your thoughts, Nicholas.

I used it in Shanghai last month too! A great travel watch wit GMT and Alarm.

The inner rotating bezel can be used as GMT function.

 By: patrickmaniac : May 30th, 2012-18:20

Or if you are not using the Alarm, the markings can be used as GMT function as well.

Kinda like a triple timezone watch.

cheers
