the Ref 159 when you see the Ref 109.

Especially since JLC presented them together in the catalogue (1945).

Thank you for these superb photos, my friend!
Was this the one your bought today..?!
In that case - congrats, awesome catch!

At the only condition that they put a manual movement...
Please, not an automatic movement in this one!

One stronger, here darker in appeal (109), the
other (159 or even SHOM) with a sober but very charming note.
As you know, I have a real bond to our lucky find last year,
159 ( neither 109 nor SHOM yet for me), as she is
my wife's one, meanwhile..
So what remains to say:
-- always enjoy to be with both ! ..
Greetings,
hs
PS:
She sends her best , with this
little pic, where you know the original
as well ..

I am very happy to see the LB back in town.
You said it with eloquence. These 2 refs, even if they don't have great movements, are very, highy desirable.
Your wife has impeccable taste, but this was evident.

Grandes bises,

Very nice one, Marv! You have them all!
Was studying old documents and if I am not completely off in my French translation, the chrome case version has an "B" in the end.
Another interestiong observation I made was that in fact this model has an "E" infront of the number (as well has the Ref E 159) - which means these were classed as water proof!
