New strap for my Extreme W-Alarm

I recently picked up the JLC rubber dive strap and buckle from Sarah at the Beverly Hills Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique:





This is a nice rubber strap: It's really comfortable, especially with the recent hot weather here as I don't enjoy wearing the croc and leather strap options during the heat; I also really like the looks of this strap.

Sarah was awesome as usual and gave me a couple extra sets of the EWA specific spring bars and another JLC cap (earlier in the year, she gave me extra sets of spring bars for my Navy SEALs Automatic and a cap back then as well).

I could test it on a MC Diving GMT, and found the combo very pleasing.

I have always admired the EWA. The splashes of red  combined with the SS case the black rubber strap (in your case straps) just work so well.  The new diving rubber strap looks great on the EWA and I bet it is comfortable. 

Argghhh! This just makes me miss my EWC.

Continue to enjoy both of your Mastwer Compressors.

Once this hot spell of weather ends, I'll probably go back to the other EWA strap options, but the dive strap will probably see some use on my Navy SEALs Automatic as well, although the articulated rubber is tough to beat.

 

The articulated rubber bracelet is awesome.

I like the strap choices that you've shared in various posts. 

I have the Tides of Time edition, it is my first Jaeger. It's good to find a fellow fan.
I wear mine mostly on the mixed leather fabric band with deployant, and sometimes on the chunky black rubber with buckle. 

However, I would like to humbly share my photo of it on my vintage mesh band option. It brings out another side to the watch. It has an interesting look with it on. 

I have recently discovered mesh bracelets and am having fun with them in polished (pictured below, my first mesh strap, but somewhat lacking in thickness for the dimensions of the watch), satin finished (my latest, thicker, and thus better fills the lug space on the Extreme W) and PVD (struggling to find a fixed home). Perhaps I can share pictures of it on the thicker mesh when the lighting is better : )

The way a different strap or bracelet can bring new "life" into a watch is exactly why I love swapping straps on my watches. The only watch in my collection that I feel very little urge to swap straps on is my Navy SEALs Automatic as the articulated rubber bracelet is just about a perfect match for it and my wrist, but I can see myself changing it to the rubber dive strap every now and then.

And, thanks for sharing photos of your Tides of Time; that is a great looking piece and the blue accents really stand out! Although I've come around with regards to mesh bracelets on certain watches, I'm still not a huge fan of them but I'm surprised at how it matches up pretty well with your Tides of Time; it's certainly a very unique combination.

first time in seeing such match...well done, not bad indeed!
