But in this case, I cannot help but contrast you as a passionate collector with many watch buyers who I know to buy certain pieces only because they are expensive, in great demand and you know the rest. They hardly care about history or the little details that enrich our journey. That's a bit sad but to each his own and once again I must say I am trying not to come off sounding judgmental here.

And I agree, we all have our own reasons for collecting watches (or other things in life) and we should not compare why. To all each own.
