This is an excellent purchase, my friend.
One remark, though. No need to always flip the watch to see what is the time in the country you are travelling.
When you travel, you set the second time zone, you flip the dial, et voilĂ .
I like a lot the grained silver dial, which I find really captivating.
As for your financial situation, you are not alone, Ruckdee. Many of us live the same thing.
Time for a rest and to enjoy what you already have, which is already awesome.
Bravo, huge congratulations.
Best,
Nicolas
Such as good taste, education, and friendship.
Passion, too.
Don't worry about what the others own, which interests me is your fine taste, and the way you selected each of your pieces.
Best, Ruckdee.

"Looking at the amazing range of watches on display here and elsewhere on the Internet, I cannot help but feel like I belong to a different league. It is the genuine friendship all around that saves me from feeling like a fish out of the water!"
Ruckdee, You speak my emotions! I have felt that way many times. However, I found - as you also did - that all those breathtaking pieces were rarely posted to show off but rather that their owners genuinely cared for them and that they were ready to offer advice and opinions - and equally important - to respect that of you and me and all the other "little league" players
I guess this forum rewards passion and opinion over finacial ability. I take my hat off for those who can acquire and enjoy those marvel watches, cars, boats and houses we see here, but I bow deep to those who go to the effort of reviewing, arguing, debating, living and telling those acquisitions to the rest of us. And I enjoy it all the way
And, while it is true that there are some astonishing collections here, I am sure that most of the watches we see are part of collections of more humane size whose owners made some efforts to be able to secure that special piece. Or at least, I tell myself that...
And now for that new Reverso on your wrist... What a stunning piece. Somehow it has escaped my attention, but now that I see your pictures, I have to see it in the metal. I love its quiet appearance with superb classicism. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing the story!

An excellent post to showcase such an exquisite piece. Wear it in good health!

I really like this new version of the Duo -- A LOT! This is a great choice.
Your photos are superb, as always, and I enjoyed reading your story of getting this one as well as the review. But then, I always enjoy witnessing your horological journey. Even if your wallet says slow down, the journey continues.
May this Reverso only tick away happy and prosperous moments for you.

Had my eye on the 1931. And was waiting to see this b4 a decision.
Was hoping soemone would share their experience, might as well be u !
Thank you for the excellent review! And it looks great on your wrist !
of the added "complication" as well. Not necessarily using it for a second time zone.
Was thinking along the lines of matching my business wear. A light / dark coloured dial would certainly make it very versatile !
I actually found the 1931 a tad too thin for my liking .... stange but true. Although it must must say the red dial is very unique & appealing !
