That is a Watch I couldn't see in the metal because it was several thousands kilometers away when I was at the Manufacture, but I can't resist to the pleasure to share with you, in avant première, this beauty from the 2014 collection, one month before the SIHH.
One observation on the name of this Watch: There is a small anachronism, here, when it is called G.R.U.T 1931, as the small seconds came a bit after, in 1934, to be precise.
Anyway, this marvel will catch some hearts, without doubts.
The rose gold case, combined to the chocolate dial, is just eye catching.
This is not, from what I have been told a limited edition ( at the moment I write these lines ).
The case has the same dimensions than a TT R 1931 Black or Red or Silver: 46, 8 x 27, 4 x 7, 3 mm.
The movement is the Cal 822 / 2 ( /2 because of the inertia variable balance Wheel, instead of the index adjustement rate ), which beats at 21600 vibrations per hour, manual winding, and offering a power reserve of 45 hours.
The strap, as shown on the picture, is made by Fagliano, a superb Brown Cordovan. But there will be another strap which will be offered for free with this Watch ,a matte Brown alligator.
No folding buckle, but pin, made in 18 Kt Gold.
Here are the photos:
The Re Edition:
The original Reverso, which inspired the Manufacture for this re edition:
The magic book of Dials:
Seduced?
Even the not colored gold guy I am love it!
Best,
Nicolas.
