The hunt for the one with the depth gauge...
so the hunt for a proper dive watch with a depth gauge began in real earnest after this trip:
...and after recently concluding that there were none but one (sorry IWC/Aquatimers) that I really loved, and as timing and luck would have it, a great specimen presented itself over the past weekend.
never been quite a 'blues' watch person, but somehow with JLC, all three are exactly of that colour... so here it is, the JLC MC DP - that's Jaeger Lecoultre Master Compressor Diving Pro Geographic !

I have to admit jealousy... er, I mean, admiration for your exquisite collection! I can't think of a cooler dive watch collection theme. Now you should seek a EWA ToT, a Compressor Diving GMT, and a Polaris II to complete the set...

The Pro Geo is a BEAST and an awesome watch. I love the combination of the dive watch with depth gauge and second time zone. Together they make the watch a true tool and adventure watch. The shark fin on the left of the case adds to the overall dimensions of the watch, but at the same time it makes the Pro Geo distinctive. There is nothing else like it even within the rarefied field of depth gauge watches.
Enjoy, and let's see lots more of this rare diver as you take it on your adventures.

Aaah, it was a long time we didn't see a Pro Geo.
That one crossed my mind more than once. I got used to its strong aesthetics.
And congrats for this superb 3072, too!
