I can't get rid of looking at this picture, where the dial of the UTT literally pops out.

The texture, the laquered blue an copper Earth just fascinates me.

...made me go to the JLC Boutique in Paris and almost buy it!! great report as usual my friend!

What did put me off this piece? nothing really, guess my wallet was not 100% ready at that time, the size maybe a bit bigger than I wished, or my head was maybe shared amongst other pieces...

But as you know I am now a happy owner of the Enamel QL which I love (btw great post of yours lately!!).

I still do not know which one you prefer...do you?

that was not the only time your reports/pictures enticed me to look deeper into the history and aspects of a timepiece....I have to admit that 1 of your watches has really gotten under my skin...and I have just bought it!

a true masterpiece... I also like the absence of the name of the caliber: I find that the caliber indication "pollute" the strong beauty of the dial... just my humble opinion.
