2 Reversos in 2 weeks
Last week, I was fortunate to find a Reverso Duoface Bleu and immediately committed to it.
This week, I was fortunate to find a TT1931 US edition (2011), and immediately committed to it.

So right now, I have a nice pair of Reversos.
But really, it's more like a trio of White Blue and Black
My wife was set on making me sell one of the two. But once the US TT1931 arrived, she proposed an alternative - that I can keep the watch, if it's hers=) So now we each have a Reverso.

Judging by the nearly black strap on the US Edition, you acquired the 2011 release, which was the first year that watch was available. Quite the coup!
Those are two beautiful watches.
Are you now on the hunt for the Rouge, the Chocolate, and/or the 1948? ;-)

I'm kidding, of course. Before first committing to the Bleu, I was really torn between that and the US TT1931. But since both are so limited, I jumped on whichever that came on the market first. I didn't expect that both would be available in the span of two weeks.
P.S. when I say "wife", it's really my conscience. My wife is lovely, and she would never force me to do anything that I didn't want to. She also reads my posts on Purist

Those are both sublime pieces. The TT1931 in black has to be experienced. I've only seen the blue in pictures, but hope one day to see it in the metal. The photos have convinced me. This message has been edited by watchthatman on 2015-04-09 20:05:32

That's too adventurous!
But yes, there is a particular round shaped watch I have in mind=). However, I would like to take a break from watch shopping to give the two Reversos some undivided attention. Unless, of course, that round shaped watch comes on the market this week; then out goes sanity again.
A well-chosen pair

At my wife's request, I gave my brown Fagliano to her, so I put on the dark blue alligator on the Bleu. I think that looks great also.
Without a doubt, the TT1931 really stands out with the brown Fagliano. There is something about the patina and the brown strap that makes the pairing absolutely perfect.
I think this pairing is perfect!
For me I do prefer my Blue with my black gator strap too for some reason

well done, i think i prefer your dark blue alligator over a black strap... Blue combined with black is always a thin line to walk for me!
