that can transform the appeal of the timepiece.
Yes, patination, is a very nice Vintage feature,
that often " elevates" the visual appeal & charm..

Sometimes, black turned into a colder tonality, but not less appealing.
Deep Sea Alarm US:
Even colder, close to new old stock, but with a subtle vanilia patina of the dial.
OR, do you prefer the rougher sign of the passing time, such as this Mark 7 Weems?
We cannot say that this last one is in pristine condition, but does it lack charm? I don't think so, I rather find that on such a Watch ( military / pilot ) it is pretty welcome.

where do you find vintage in these conditions? I know about your two DSA, but the others? Are they all serviced to this condition? The red is magnificent. Even the central seconds looks so much better than a new one.
