That is incredible. A scratch-proof RO...something we've all longed for...
...although I wonder how durable to impact?
There have been some isolated reports of shattered ceramic watches...
But I'd just make sure it's adequately insured and then wear it and enjoy it.
I've heard a few horror stories. I've not owned a ceramic piece...
...so it's still a bit unclear to me how durable the material is in practice. Seems like it can take most anything but a sharp blow on the wrist or a drop onto a hard floor. A RO perpetual is certainly not a sport watch...
I personally wouldn't hesitate to own a ceramic watch
And if budget allowed this RO would be at the top of the list. But if anything were to happen I'd fall back on my insurance policy to cover any repairs.
already a very good looking watch but I am anticipating some colour combination, like
rose gold accents: that will look very nice!

Or am I feeling a bit jaded not to react with much excitement over a ceramic watch, albeit one executed with such exquisite craftsmanship and a superior movement?
I may not look at my wife's J12 the same again or dismiss Rado's ceramic selection as just gimmicky.

For me, the primary interest here is AP launching a watch with a full ceramic case and bracelet. And interesting that they chose to do it with the perpetual calendar complication.
I am not certain I see this filtering to other watches. As AP has stated how time consuming the material is to work with, maybe a higher price point piece like the PC makes sense for it.
When I look at the 15202 on my wrist, I would not change it for an all black model. That is just not this watch.

the RO has once already left people puzzled about its material...
