New AP!!
Hi everyone,
Would like to share with you my new acquisition. It is the first version of the full ceramic Offshore 44mm ref 26402ce.oo.a002ca.01. Does anybody know how many where made? I believe that the watch was made between 2013 - 2014? If someone has more information on this watch will appreciate it. I have to say AP really knows how to do ceramic watches, the finish on the case is just amazing. Hope you like it!

I was thinking about pulling the trigger on a full ceramic...
But I don't know how this material holds up over time. Over the next several weeks, can you please let us know how it holds up to dings and scratches?I'm very curious. An AP that doesn't scratch and holds its edges seems like a dream come true. Could it really be???

I bought this watch as a pre owned watch, the watch was sold in 2015 to the first owner, it was listed as in mint condition and the watch is as new as any other ceramic pieces I have try at any AD or boutiques, so I think after 2 plus years the watch looks pretty new. So its true that ceramic is a hard material to scratch or ding. The only bad news for ceramic is that if it falls from a certain height it may break. You should definitely go for one, I think AP makes the best ceramic watches in the market.
not resistent to dings in my opinion...
AP ceramics are very scratch resistent but fairly easy to chip. I chipped a bezel with a very light bump...
