Favorite Royal Oak Chronograph?
So many nice ones over the years. For me, the common trait starts with the classic 39mm case.
26022 in white gold - much more familiar and intimate with this one. A perfect heft, the wonderful AP logo at 12, and unique markers. Tops for me.
In a steel case, a bit more practical. And some great strap options. Here, a personal creation known as the ROC Racer. So sporty.
LaBoutique Paris - never owned it, came very close 5 years ago. It was a European owner, we agreed to meet in NY for a face to face deal, but then the communication stopped. I have never flown 4 hours just to pick up a watch, but I was ready for this one. Alas, I probably saved myself a wasted flight if the seller never showed. I had a ticket lined up, and that is when the radio silence began. Perhaps one day I will rendezvous with this sandblasted titanium beauty:

RO Messi I find very fetching... too bad they had to sign it . But as a pref I never get a named watch. Believe it is same 39mm [nt]

The first two ROCs are absolute TOP and the last one is no chump.
I'd also love to get a crack at the titanium La Boutique ROC some day.

AP should make more Royal Oaks with Arabic numerals, including both jumbos and ROCs. The numerals take the watch to another level of sportiness.

...I was very interested in the platinum version and was so fortunate to know of a forum member selling one. Unfortunately due to a change in personal circumstances coupled with the simultaneous financial downturn I was unable to pursue any further. I regret it to this day. I seem to recall Tom Cruise owned a white gold ROC some years ago.

Love the 39s and this blue and orange number caught my eye the moment they released it - had to buy it when I got offered a steal from the AD (back when discounts could be had for old customers). Had it now for 8 years and she's a keeper.
Totally agree about the 39mm ROC, it is indeed the perfect size and has the perfect dimensions
here are some of my personal favorites.

The ever popular and amazing WG model.
Really like the chocolate dial with orange hands as well.

Is only a good size for guys with small wrists, 39mm is borderline ladies size these days.
