Based on these two options. Owned a couple of AP's and like them very much, but prefer the PP in this case. Either way, it's a good problem to have. Enjoy!
WOW. Like comparing Black vs White! Lets start with your personal tastes, what your collection is currently made of, your lifestyle ( do you travel a lot?). How much time between both purchases? These will help define which one should come first.
I disagree. Lifestyle could matter. As an example, my personal lifestyle dictates the timepieces I acquire. PP or not, a timepiece with a leather strap will never find a home under my roof. Therefore AP would come first.
AP forged carbon on rubber is the most wearable combo I’ve ever experienced.

Besides being more practical it’s also more attractive and original imho 😌 Oh yeah, an AP with a ceramic bezel is also a game changer for daily wearing a RO and it’s looks amazing.
Two very different choice. I would pick the PP simply because it is more my type look between the two, but you should get the one you are drawn too the most first!

Who am I to turn down an opportunity. The Patek seems easier to find - this LNIB example was to hard to resist. I know Michael is a fan of this from your past posts…
Insightful 😷 neither of these I find ugly. But both unique and I gravitate to interesting and unique watches. I’m not looking for just one watch but a collection of interesting watches that can be interchanged for experiences and style.

If it was a x1 watch collection it would be a sub. But that’s not a collection and pretty boring
