Audemars Piguet

Wife went watch shopping and saw a Lady Royal Oak and a Lady Millenary. She liked both, but leaning more toward the Royal Oak.

Which one would you recommend? This would be our first AP.

after trying both on her wrist, she should have a pretty good idea of what she likes and dislikes....?

I'm not sure anyone here can give you advice on behalf of your wife, but the RO seems to be a more popular decision.

The Lady Millenary (I particularly like the 'Starry Night' version the most) is a wonderful elegant choice where the Royal Oak Ladies is more sporty.  Which models variants were you looking at?

My wife got a steel model --white dial RO with bracelet  auto movt 2140 and likes it very much. It can be use   for day or night and very sporty yet understated. The diamond bling a bit  but this is what  woman likes most ! As for the  quality  of the product (technically and finishing),  it is very good and  among the top gun.                                                

For the ladies'Millenary, it is not that special, however, it depend on individual taste, The RO, it is a icon for AP products for many  years and till today, it still  a very propular model  among man and woman.

Select the piece she likes the most and Just enjoy for many year to come ! Cheer !

 

 

We were looking at the quartz version of the RO (didn't know they make an automatic version of the ladies RO.)

A friend of ours actually advised against getting a quartz watch, so we kind of scratched the thought.

Now that I know of the automatic version, will look more into it.

As for the Millenary, we were looking at the ladies black and white in stainless steel.

We did see a starlit sky, and she liked it, but it's out of our price range.

We are also looking at Breguet Marine. She always has a hard time making up her mind.

All this shopping is very hard for me, as I see something that I like but can't get.

I don't think she even knows what she wants; that's the problem.

Maybe something dressy, but not too flashy so she can wear it regularly.

Anyway, she said last night that maybe we'll just have to save up some more so she can just buy the PP annual calendar that she likes.
