Hello everyone, I am new to this site and new to AP ownership. As my 40th birthday is coming up in February I have acquired a watch that I have desired greatly. Thanks to the support of my lovely wife I finally received my watch from my AD and I love it! I hope you enjoy the pics. Take care and I am glad to be part of this amazing community!

Safari is one of my favorite ROO collection, the dial has nice texture and it goes along with many kind of straps, you should try the rubber also black croc, : )

Thanks for the comments! I appreciate the suggestion for the black strap as well. Will have to try that. Looking forward to learning more on this site and hopefully one day purchasing my 2nd AP

These AP's are addicting! I keep looking at my watch and still don't know what time it is

As an aside, the strap is a tad bit too big for me but it remains pretty comfortable. A suggestion made by a very well respected member in another forum was to reverse the straps so the buckle will be on the right side thus fitting my 6.75 inch wrist tighter. I am gong to get this done at Tivol's in KC this weekend. Tivol carries Patek and JLC so they will hopefully keep my AP in good hands. The person who suggested this has the same wrist size and the Safari fits him well now. I was just wondering whether any of you have had a similar experience with ROO straps with regards to obtaining a snugger fit. Thanks in advance!

Had tried reversing in the past, but since used to tongue pointing out somehow felt weird having them pointing in. Further, tongue will still stick out too much, and won't be as comfortable as having your right size strap anyway - under buckle will still rub, albeit better than when in standard position. Had every one of mine changed. Get size "XS" (extra short) from your AD, it will be perfect.

I appreciate the suggestion. Will see what the reversal feels like and then order the extra short strap if needed. Thanks again!

As you mentioned that the standard is only tad bit long, am just a little wary XS might be too short. For eg. for me, XS on left wrist sits perfect, but when tried on right, which is another hole down, tongue almost completely hidden--hence too short. So best if you could try on wrist for a definite fit first prior to buying one. Cheers!

and reversed it on my Safari. Fits great now.
