Definitely not too small in diameter, and...
...if you are talking about how the bracelet fits, maybe another link or 1/2 link, but it doesn't look bad to me.

I own watches from 33 to 45, and the Rolex Explorer I (36mm) and the RO Quantieme annuel (36mm) are two of my fav.

Think the AP RO wears 'bigger' than its actual size because of the integrated bracelet.

36mm RO is a good size as the integrated bracelet makes the watch wears fittingly on the wrist. Your Tantalum/RG RO with salmon dial is a dream piece for me!!

Too small for sure
The lugs and part of the bracelet on the top makes the dial portion looks small. Personally I don't like overtly small watches. They look like coins on the wrist.

Wow this is a old tread and looking at my hand is a harsh reminder of my diebete days! Those forever super dry and cracking bleeding dark knuckles of mine...that was 118KG. now I am pass that and am 83KG now.
As for the AP.. that's the 36mm RO.
I no longer wear that watch anymore. I gave to my mrs. Fit her fine.
