Granted, we all hope that we never experience problems with fine watches, cars, boats etc. However, I always think the way to truly measure a great company is the manner in which they resolve a problem and how they treat the customer when a problem is brought to their attention.
I hope you contact AP to find out how they will handle the situation rather than giving up on them without giving them an opportunity to make things right.

If so, that means you aren't mobile enough where the automatic rotor can spin freely so it winds up the power reserve. And that there's nothing wrong with your AP.
