Yesterday,

My dealer called me and told me that a brand new AP Royal Oak Offshore Novelty Rose Gold has come and wanted me to see the watch.And after the visit I decided to give my AP Royal Oak Rose Gold and Franck muller 8880 CC AT Rose Gold for trade and payed the difference.I am happy with the transaction but also curious what your decision would be if you had the chance.

If I were you, I would not opt for this as I have one watch less!!

I like the simplicity of Royal Oak especially in pink gold, while I do know the ROO is massive, and complicate, while for me, it is a bit too big for my wrist.

Please note that this is solely my personal view about and it is really a personal decision for the trade.

but it's obviously a personal choice.

there are so many nice watches out there and its one thing to admire them but another to experience them, if you liked it and got it then good plus the new watch watch looks fantastic as well.

I enjoy every single bit of it since acquiring it few weeks ago.

I am not a big fan of the Franck Muller case and even though you have one less watch I find the more watches I have the lesser I wear, sticking just with my favorites and not rotating as much as I used to.  Congratulations and I think you made a great move.

In fact, I would have kept the Frank Muller. The Royal Oak would probably not see much wrist time after you have the Offshore, so getting rid of it makes sense.

To me, personally, strictly personally, it is good to say good bye to FM.  But would we be happy to let go the simple RO?  Not sure.  ROO is a bit bulky and the opportunity to wear it is fairly limited (just weekend watch, for example).  So, I would wait another opportunity to get rid of FM and would have kept RO....  Like I said, this is my personal taste and what it counts is whether you are happy with the result.  If you are happy , nothing else matters!  Congrats!

You are not a museum, don't you. Sell dated models if you won't wear them. I made the same move (also fm8880), but i bought the rg 41mm ro chrono, i have smaller hands. If the new roo was 41-42mm, i would buy that one. Enjoy it!!!!
