Hi, New to AP - Picked up my first Royal Oak

Just picked up my dual time Royal Oak several days ago, loving every bit of it. This will be my daily wear as most of the watch I have is dress watches. Picked it up at an AD in Japan that hasn't been able to sell it for a long time they said - Most people here picked up ROO and the 15300 or 15400 according to them (Matsuzakaya in Nagoya)
It has an F serial number, I wonder what year this was made off, they received it in late 2010. Hope to learn more about AP from you guys.

The Royal Oak Dual Time is a wonderful watch.
I believe that reference was introduced in 2006. An F series might have run through 2007, so it could be from one of those years. An AP service center would be able to confirm the production year.

Once upon a time
I wanted the blue version of this watch. I appreciated the fact that the AP Dual Time has a full 2 hander on the 2nd time zone (as opposed to the VC version of this watch).
Actually, I still have an eye out for this AP but a couple of things bothers me:

- It has a relatively short power reserve --> 38 hrs
- for a 39mm watch, it's quite cluttered. I can't help but wonder if 41-42mm would look better.
Anyways, pls update us how that watch wears over a span of time. I'm curious to hear your experiences from an owner. I may just add the AP Dual Time to my collection yet!
