Using the selfwinding Caliber 2897 makes sense on a robust Royal Oak Offshore, and the other current collection Tourbillon Chronograph offerings are manual wind.
The dial cutout at 1:00 is interesting. I'm slightly bothered by the "Audemars Piguet" logo, and would love to see how it might look with a simple "AP" instead. But it works with the general arrangement of the dial IMO.
The inner tach ring is listed as "sapphire" and looks to be a cool new detail. I will hope to see one of these special watches in person, one day.
