A brief tale of 2 AP PuristS finally meeting
For many years now, I have known a fellow Purist named Dan (Mastershop4). Through the cyber world, we have become great friends over this time, discussing many topics beyond watches. We had almost met on 2 previous occasions, but for various reasons we were unable to connect. The most recent time was earlier this year, when a business trip would have Dan minutes from my house, only to have me in Miami to cover an AP event.
And the next morning, much too early, after only 3 hours of sleep, a PuristS selfie...
In additional to owning an architectural stone company, I have been a residential designer for almost 20 years. Dan asked if I were willing to fly to Ohio to help him with a project there. Work for a fellow Purist? Of course! So last weekend I flew to Detroit to meet my good friend.
I'm afraid there are not many photos, but we had a great time together. After completing our work on Saturday, Dan and his Family took me North to see the Michigan State - Ohio State football game. While the outcome was not favorable for the Spartan fans, it was an amazing experience for me. It had been years since I had been to a college football game, and to catch the national game of the week at night in 30 degree temps was a thrill.
Go Green! Go White!
And the next morning, much too early, after only 3 hours of sleep, a PuristS selfie...
Thanks to Dan for the hospitality, and thanks to all PuristS for making this Community like a second home and family for us all.

We're happy to have you signed up for our residential design project. Feeling very good about your involvement.

MichaelC had no red anywhere. In fact, I purposely selected my only AP with green and white! LOL.
And... I was not the one who predicted MSU would win the game 31-13...
