It's true that Ap, producing mainly classical watches with plain and neat dials, it's not familiar with more elaborated and complex ones (usually typical in more sporty and casual watches).
In that sense, taking apart many skeleton or chiseled dials, the royal oaks' dials with their "tapisserie" are pretty "complex" too (if not in the scheme surely in the way they are made).
