Went ahead and indulged in exactly what I've been wanting; should arrive from my dealer next week
While I really enjoy the ceramic blue-dialed Bathyscaphe, the Sedna gold version released last year, with the striking brushed case, really floored me. I've thought it over since then, and finally decided the time is right.
I'll certainly post my thoughts and pictures when it arrives next week, but until then, the stock Blancpain media pictures give a good impression.....

I admit I have problems whenever I purchase watches. I have to hide them sometimes.

I am a big fan of red gold combined with blue. Especially if it is a sports watch.
And I am a fan of BP now. I can say just the best about my (first) FF which I have been wearing permanently the last weeks.

So pleased that you're so excited about your Blancpain, it certainly seems like it could be a lifelong companion for you, and just get better with age! The good news is that it seems Blancpain does a good job with service and keeping watches looking good, decades on down the road. I have no doubt that ours will look better than us 30 years from now!

A dream
That's really a dream watch in red gold case. I had the blue ceramic for 6 months before I sold it. It was a bit to big for my liking, what I regret a loooottt. 42mm and max. 12mm height are my limit for comfort as a main watch. Happy man who can say, that this Bathyscaphe fit him well. And I say it again: it's a dream, a dream, a dream.
