Fifty Fathoms 5015-1130-52
Not long ago I had the chance to see the modern version of the Fifty Fathoms.
I know that more often the vintage Fifty Fathoms is discussed here, but I thought you might enjoy some fresh photos of the modern as well…
For me, this is a very nice “tribute” to the original. Updated size, modern design, use of modern material, modern movement.
But still true to the original in some of the senses: a diver’s tool watch, antimagnetic, good visibility…
I know, some detail may not be in the vintage spirit, like the date window at 4:30, but as a modern watch for someone not already owning 6-7 vintage BP FF this might be a possible alternative.

Even for the Vintage FF collectors, this version is interesting!
I love the work Blancpain did on this Watch, as well as on the 50th Anniversary.
The Project X is fantastic, too, on the opposite side of the line.
Yes, even for some vintzge FF collectors, some modern FFs have a lot of appeal!

That is not too tough to do. And this watch is worth an effort.
I like the way associated a superb finish of the dial, an excellent movement and a nice case to their iconic model.

Even when it is already seven years ...
The lattest one from the Fifty Fathoms family Bathyscaphe (three hands version and chronograph) are amazing as well, but different for several reasons.
